Yesterday Claire had her first major athletic experience. We have not taken her to a Diamondbacks game recently because it is doubtful one of those would qualify. Instead we took a trip to Nationals Park in DC to see the Nats take on the Phillies. We lucked out because it was a dry, cool evening in July, something we have not had for a long time.
There were a lot of people getting off the Metro. Off of one train. Good thing Metro has all the escalators and air conditioning working at the Navy Yard station for a change.

Claire eventually wore out and proceed to chill. The Nats won 8-1 and we had a wonderful time!

we were at the same game! robbie was actually complaining about being cold. but the bike ride home made us hot and sweaty so we weren't complaining TOO long.
Claire is cute :) Diamondbacks are lame.... That's all I have to say. Goodbye :)
